Senator Joyce has been a long time advocate of home care, which gives residents the resources they need to age in their homes instead of a nursing home. The home care system has also proven to be substantially cheaper for taxpayers.
Additionally, the Senator has sponsored a number of bills during his service (including S. 1351 this session) to alleviate the burden of rising property taxes on individuals with fixed incomes by providing tax credits to senior homeowners.
