SENATOR JOYCE ANNOUNCES OPPORTUNITIES AT CONVENTION CENTER JOB INFORMATION SESSION

Senator Brian A. Joyce announces that the Boston Convention Center is holding a "Job Information and Networking Session" to educate people about careers in the construction industry.

Anyone interested in a construction industry career and working on the construction of the Boston Convention Center is invited to attend the May 31st session that will take place in Hyde Park.

Contractors will be available to discuss job opportunities and apprentice programs for carpenters, electricians, hotel workers, ironworkers, laborers, millwrights, painters, pipefitters, plumbers, and sheetmetal workers.

"This session is an excellent opportunity for people to talk to contractors about a whole host of job opportunities and apprenticeship programs," said Senator Brian A. Joyce. "I encourage anyone who has thought about entering the construction industry to attend the event."

The session is from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hyde Park Municipal Building, 1179 River Street in Hyde Park. Call 617-635-0771 for more information.
